Chowderfest
March 7th | 11am – 5pm
Gig Harbor’s Waterfront
Chowderfest is back on Saturday, March 7th, at the historic Gig Harbor waterfront, where you can sample chowders from over 33 local restaurants. You can also follow a fun “Chowder Lore” trail, collect trivia cards, and enter to win a grand prize waterfront dining experience.

St. Paddy’s Day Run
March 14 | Starting at 8am
815 Pacific Ave., Tacoma
The St. Paddy’s Day Run features a half-marathon along Tacoma’s waterfront with rolling hills, scenic views, and a turnaround at Point Ruston and Dune Peninsula Park, plus 10K and 5K out-and-back courses for runners and walkers of all levels. All finishers will receive one of the event’s famous medals to celebrate their accomplishment.
